Let it be known that i'm a sucker for some classic R&B vibes, so when a friend sent me a tape of an old late-night WBLS radio recording, the beginning of an idea started to form.

Enter Quiet Storm: my new instrumental project drawing influence from 80s and 90s R&B slow jams, all tied together with talk excerpts, jingles and ads from classic Quiet Storm radio segments. Think of it as the fictional radio station in my mind. Available now via Cheeba Cheeba records as a digital and ltd. edition cassette release.
